Our mission as a healthcare service provider is to continually deliver the highest standard of patient-centered primary and specialty care in a friendly, professional environment. All-inclusive care
With 22 medical office and 1800 staff members of which 350 are leading primary and specialty care physicians, Queens-Long Island Medical Group, P.C. (QLIMG) is the largest physician-owned medical practice group in the Queens-Nassau-Suffolk region. The QLIMG medical offices are designed for patients’ convenience with on-premises lab work, X-ray, mammograms, bone density testing, sonograms, and other important diagnostic tests. That means QLIMG patients can access all-inclusive healthcare services close to home or work.

Our commitment incorporates leading edge technologies – such as our electronic medical records (EMR) system – that allow us to offer innovative treatment options that keep patients healthy and active. QLIMG is one of the first medical groups in New York State to implement a secure Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Our EMR system provides instant access to the most current, comprehensive patient information, enabling each of our physicians and specialists to provide the highest level of patient care. The new EMR allows our doctors to make the most accurate, fast decisions. They can immediately access healthcare records from any site, see laboratory results and submit prescription information to pharmacists.

Fewer errors
Our EMR system eliminates many errors due to illegible handwriting. With digital records and less paperwork, there are fewer opportunities for handwritten notes to be misinterpreted or misunderstood. Shared knowledge
Our doctors can share critical healthcare information with our entire network of physicians. That means they can get fast second opinions or digitally send information to any other doctor in our network. This ensures continuity and accuracy of care throughout a patients’ entire healthcare experience. We are proud to offer our doctors and patients the latest technology in patient care. Specialists and services
Each QLIMG facility has specialists and dedicated programs focused on maintaining our patients’ health, including stabilizing symptoms for acute and chronic illnesses. This includes specialty, pediatric, women’s health and coordinated disease management programs such as diabetes, hypertension and congestive heart failure. QLIMG offers patients more than 40 different specialty services to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care. As an additional layer of service, QLIMG provides Care Management. A team of Care Management professionals assists patients with navigating their healthcare and guides them to the most appropriate services to ensure that each patient receives coordinated care. Care managers also ensure that patients which includes support services such as .

 

Urgent Care Centers
QLIMG has four conveniently located, fully staffed Urgent Care Centers. These facilities are designed to take the place of hospital emergency rooms for serious but non-life-threatening issues like high fevers, asthma symptoms, fractures and other injuries. The Urgent Care offices operate after normal business hours, up to 11pm including weekends and holidays. This allows patients the flexibility to receive care when they need it most, without the lengthy waits of a hospital Emergency Room.

Affiliated hospitals
QLIMG is affiliated with many leading hospitals, including the North Shore-LIJ Health system. These collaborations mean that QLIMG patients receive the highest standard of care when hospitalization is required. With this wide array of services and affiliations, QLIMG is able to offer superior care for every patient

 

Hospitalists
Hospitalists are QLIMG physicians that work exclusively in our affiliated hospitals. These doctors care for our patients from intake through discharge to provide continuity of care in the hospital setting. After discharge, these doctors return the patients back to the care of their primary care providers with full information about the patient’s hospital stay. With these exceptional services, QLIMG is uniquely able to provide personalized care for every patient.
